I visited the site and used it but never purchased anything from priceline. But I have used expedia and booked a reservation from them in the past but not recently.

I have used priceline before. The sad thing is that when I booked my hotel at what I thought was a cheap rate. When I arrived the cost of my room actually should have been cheaper than what I paid for it because the book in the hotel room had cheaper rates than what I paid in the first place. I was highly upset and I went to speak to management at the hotel and they refunded me some of my money and I got a discount rate on  them the next time I used them. The hotel said that they would fix the problem that they had with priceline, and they also took all fault and stated to me that it was not priceline's fault at all. I have not used them since but in the future if I do before I book I would call the place of retail and ask to see how much there rates are first to make sure you don't wind up like I did. Hope I was helpful.

I tried to use this site onetime but the prices were better on other sites and at the hotel site.  Check around before booking anything

i worked at a hotel for 6 years and all those websites are rip offs. u can always get a better deal by callen the hotel directly and most hotels these days will even negotiate prices with u. u have to think the websites get a certain dollar amount from u and only give the hotel a percentage of that and keep the rest for them.
