Does anyone here Skype?

Today, most everyone has a cell phone on their person. Why bother with something that requires a computer? I've never had Skype and see no reason to ever have it.

Today, most everyone has a cell phone on their person. Why bother with something that requires a computer? I've never had Skype and see no reason to ever have it.

I guess the main reason would be Skype is free. If I made cell phone calls for every Skype message I sent, my bill would look like the national debt very soon. I also don't see a way to transmit files over the cell phone, which I do often on Skype with a few mouse clicks. I should clarify, I only use Skype to chat with friends and family maybe 2% of the time, the rest is working with other people who want to make money online. I don't need to be here to respond with Skype at my own convenience, but I would not like getting all those cell phone calls.
