Amazing Tacos Salad Recipe

Ingredients
1lbs. hamburger meat
1 large bag Doritos
1 large bottle Russian or thousand island dressing
2-3 large tomatoes or to taste
1 large head ice burg lettuce shredded cheese (optional)

Directions

Brown hamburger meat in frying pan. Dice the tomatoes, and chop lettuce int fine pieces.
In Bowl, mix browned hamburger meat, tomatoes, and lettuce.
Add the entire bottle of dressing. Crush bag of Doritos and add to mixture. Add shredded cheese if desired.
Serve right away.

i usually don't like mexican food and/or salad. but i LOVE tacos; and this sounds so yummy!

Thank you for the recipe. Going to try it and add a little crumbled sausage and or some soy to the mix. Sounds good, because I love tacos, the hard ones. Will have to add the lettuce.

This sounds interesting/i normly make it with light catalia dressing.Thats the recipe that my sister gave me, so i always uesd it,but i will deflnty will try thousond island dressing.Sounds good/Thanks

To make it go farther, add a can of drained, rinsed ranch beans.

i looked at this post because i was curious to see if
it was the same recipe that my grandma uses for her
taco salad... yup! the thousand island dressing makes
all the difference.

I will have to try it with the thousand island dressing.  I make a taco salad like this but with italian dressing.  I also add onions and avocado to it. Yummy!

Sounds different, another thing I do with traditional taco salad, is ranch dressing instead of taco sauce, and another thing you can make are sombre salads, just add a jar of cheeze whiz or anytime of cheese, and chopped up greenpeppers to your taco hamburger mix, in a bowl lay nacho chips, then hamburger mixture, top with lettuce, tomato, cheese, sourcream optional. dip your mixture up with chips.
