i do at my church i help with the kids bible study group i wish i could do more but my health doesn't let me

I volunteer at our church food pantry. We help over 100 families each week with 3 days worth of food to help stretch their budget. Plus I get to meet a lot of interesting people.

Every year I answer phones for the St Jude radiothon. I usually spend most of the days crying as i listen to the heartwrenching stories. I feel blessed because my daughter was born with spina bifida. She has the rarest form, meaning she is able to walk and you would not know about it unless you saw the scar on her back and asked. During that time, Children's Mirical Network helped us out with gas money and hotel money so that we could be with our daughter. So any of these children's charities that ask for help, I will always help. Hopefully by helping, I can help someone else who is going through very tough times with their child as I have been there and felt so lost and helpless.

In the past I did, but my back pains and other issues doesn't permit me to do so anymore.

My husband and I volunteer at a no-kill dog/cat shelter.  We each do one of the cat rooms once a week.  We also help out in our neighborhood babysitting a couple of girls after school until their parents get  home.

Yep.  I volunteer with Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and also at the nursing home where my Pappaw is.  I like helping people especially at the nursing home where they cannot do for themselves and lots of times they are treated like they are in the way.  There are some good people who work there and it's sad that the handful of bad employees tend to make them all look bad.
