This is the second time I have been in this hospital, I wouldn't of came back, if it wasn't the surgeon had been the first one to work on my leg when I was hauled into the emergency room late in april, barely alive.
The first time, I had broken left leg, inside fracture of right heel/ankle and a broken shoulder.
needless to say, I couldnt do too much, more or less use a restroom, these nurses then, infuriated me, they left me on a bed pan, it was disgusting. they would not answer calls, and they were hateful. they didn't want to clean up after a patient, it seemed.
Well I had to come back, I am a little more mobile now. you push a button, you get no answer, or I will tell your nurse, 45 minutes later, still no nurse, you got to use restroom, you had better hold it, if you can't get to anything. I wound up stretching across floor putting the commode together, since no one had. They just act like they got better things to do.
Don't get me wrong they are not all like this, but the ones that are, that make you feel bad, because you need something, they look at you like, ughh I aint going to help, or can't you do that by yourself. Then they will just disappear, no where to be found.
Well I was told to not walk by myself, or have someone hold a belt on me, but I couldn't take it and got up cuz i called them again, to no avail.
If I would of fell, it would of been on them. They need new staff or if someone does not care about people, or have genuine compassion, they should not be able to be in this field.
