time

time seems to be going fast.
In the last three days, I am trying to keep up.
Things seem to be piling up, even though they really aren't.
Fitting everything in is a challenge.

I have learned that throughout my years of raising 5 kids and having to struggle with everything that keeping a daily log of things to complete works the best for me.  I have home work, house cleaning, cooking, laundry just everything in general and then some.  I write down everything that needs to be done and the time I want to get it done by and stick to that.   Also the human mind wonders around so you might seem that your jumping around and doing different things all the time and you should do this because then it seems like nothing gets done.  So when you start a task make sure you finish it first before moving on to the next one only because of this situation you are in now.  Other wise you will begin to be over whelmed with all that is around you and stress is the number one leading cause of heart attacks or mental break downs.  good luck and hope you try it.  It really does work

When I feel overwhelmed I keep a list of things that need done too.  Only I break down the big jobs into lots of smaller ones.  Then the more I cross off the list the more accomplished I feel.  Also the little jobs make the really big tasks not seem so overwhelming.    An example is cleaning the living room.  Do it in increments when you have a few minutes.   1.  go through and pick up the clutter that does not belong in there.    2.  Fluff up cushion and pillows.    3.  Dust starting at the ceiling line (I seem to have lots of spider webs if I don't dust the corners and walls once every week or two).   4.  Clean surfaces like TV screen   5.  Vacuum   None of the jobs take very long, but just writing clean the living room can be just to much.  This way every time you go by, or have a few minutes you are actually doing something to get to your main goal.  A clean living room.   This can be done with any job.   Don't write vacuum the house, break it down.

I like that idea and to keep focused to reach the main goal.  It makes a lot of since, I have 5 kids and things tend to get dirty quit often and even though I break it down and do one thing at a time, by the time I am done it's dirty all over again but that is ok because I wouldn't be the mother I am today without my kids.

Time seems to go by a lot faster, and when you have a busy schedule your time runs out before you get schedule done!

you see I am a mother and I have all the time on my hands after they go to bed, I don't get any sleep but still things need to be done and I think the saying goes something like this....why put off for tomorrow what you can get done today.....And trust me god will never put anything in your path that you can't handle even if it takes you a few days to accomplish your goals.

I think the reason times seems to go faster as you age is that you have a routine/schedule that you repeat daily because of your responsibilities. When we were kids, even with school, there was more unscheduled time. More down time.

It's going by super freaking slow for me.  I was even offered a few extra hours of work a week for the next five or so weeks and it hasn't helped.  I signed up for a couple of online courses that offer certificates through universities though starting here in late Aug.  Hopefully that will help kill any down time and speed things up a bit.  =-P
