I watched it, I was not as impressed as I was with 2008 opening ceremony. Womens gymnastics is my favorite event to watch!

I only saw the first half of the opening ceremonies, and it was kinda boring to me, hopefully the closing ceremonies will be better!

I did not watch the opening ceremony. I like watching the gymnastics, swimming, and track and field events in the Olympics.

I watched the opening ceremonies.   Loved the part with Mr. Bean and also the scenes with 007 and the Queen parachuting into the stadium.  A lot of the commentary was interesting on how different this Olympics is from the one London did in 1948.  Athletes and countries had to provide food, equipment, towels.  They spent 0 money on it, no venues etc.  Now they spent a billion or more.  [color]

Missed the opening but I'll pay attention to the medal count and I watched some swimming and gymnastics.

I watched a bit of the opening but went on to other things.  I've watched most of the gymnastics and swimming stuff.  I caught one diving competition off a huge platform - no way I'd ever get up there much less dive off  ;D

I watched the opening ceremonies with my family. I think the highlight was the bunch of guys who were wearing top hats like Abraham Lincoln dancing. We referred to them as the break dancing lincolns. I do like watching all the countries march in.
