It takes 2 to be involved in domestic abuse; the abuser and the victim.  The pattern or cycle will end when the victim
makes a solid choice to stop being a victim.  Sometimes that requires a victim being empowered enough to leave the situation.

It makes my heart ache that some people are in this kind of relationship.  I really don't understand, but I have heard that if their parents were abusers, they will be.
