Is it me or is the news owned by only one organization. I check out 3 or 4 differnet channels and they all seem to be doing the same story, no individuality nothing new. Where is the real world news at. Are we just being fed only what they want us to see. In other words are we being propagandized (sp), Hummmm, I wonder.

If you are watching the network news channels, they are all the same.  There hasn't been a decent attempt at journalism from the mainstream media in decades.  Its sad how they are a protected class under the Constitution and have just thrown that honor in the garbage.

Lately, I hate watching any news because it's all depressing or lies. They focus on the negative like when the President does something wrong, they flash that 24/7 but if it's something good like gas prices going down, the economy getting better little to nothing mentioned. Joey's right about the news integrity & honor going down the tubes decade after decade! The :bs: they put out for the people today, they'd be laughed out of the media in fact fired on the spot 20yrs ago for altering news to fit one's beliefs. Excuse is freedom of speech blah, blah, blah....How is it freedom of speech when the truth is twisted into lies? Saddest of all is that alot of Americans are eating up the lies mostly because they are not educated enough to know the difference. Keep them from rising from the bottom, keep them from becoming educated, keep them under your feet & the people will continue to believe the lies. I can only think of one way to slow down or stop this monster/menus in the media is to stop watching, listening, texting,emailing.....any news. Cut it out like a cancer. We want real news not bs they feed us today!

It is said that no news is good news so any news we watch should be bad or depressing news. It is sad or stressful world in the news most time so I don't watch news either

One channel gets the story and the others copy it... I worked for a newspaper a long time ago and that's what they did...

Once upon a time, I liked watching the news but not anymore.  When you watch one channel, all the rest are reporting the same thing using a different take on whatever may be happening.
