Spring Flowers

Tulips are the first ones that catch my eye in the spring.  My lilacs do not come out until the middle of May and they smell so good.

Living here in Texas, I love when the bluebonnets start popping up.  They fill up entire fields and all along the highways.  It's always a beautiful sight.

I love tulips. It's a shame they don't last very long. When I see them poke their heads out of the grown I can't wait to see them bloom. I have hundreds of bulbs in different colors. This year the weather was warm early so the bloomed and died off before easter.

I watched Buttercups bloom in January.  Very unusal.  Our winter here was warmer than it has been in along time.  But last weeks we had some cold weather and we had frost a few morning.  I hope it done get to hot this summer.  May Gob bless  each of you and keep you safe.

Tulips and azaleas are gorgeous this time of year.  I have some 'jacob's ladder' roses in my back yard showing off their peach and yellow colors right now, too.

Daffodils.  They are my birth-month flower.
