What can I do to make the world a better place to live?

    For one we could treat others the way we would liked to be treated.  Any situations that causes pain and suffering to others should be eliminated, by replaceing it with something that brings joy and happyness. There are quite a number of things i could do to make the world a better place to live for all. :peace:and

Start by spreading love and kindness in your area and hopefully others will see it and be touched by it enough to want to carry on the good deeds.

I find that just keeping my part in terms of making it my business to keep my surroundings clean and doing to others what I would want done to me and for me is enough to keep me busy. I have no desire to to more.

lately i've been recycling all my paper by taking
it to this school near my house that has a drop off
recycling bin. i've even started a paper recycling
bin at work because we go through soo much paper
its ridiculous... so i take it all and dump it every
weekend at the school

Clean up after yourself and conduct a selfless act maybe once a day. The latter was inspired based on those commercials where a person does a good deed to someone and inspires to likewise do a good deed. A news segment recently highlighted this by a specific group (I do not remember the name).

I like to spend time with the children teaching them how to love and share. It's over for the adult, we need to give our children a fighting chance for a better future.

One way to make the world a better place is to smile at someone. Engage in a small conversation. There are people who have no one.

Recycling is good.  I recycle everything I can. 

Random acts of kindness.  Open a door for someone.  Get something off a shelf for someone at the store.  Whatever you get the opportunity to do.   

The golden rule is great.  Be sure you do unto them they way they want to be done unto. 

Keep your pets from roaming and get them neutered.    If you get a new pet adopt a shelter animal. 

Put your energy into what you want to see in the world.  Be like Mother Teresa, don't march against the war, march for peace. 

Volunteer to do something.  Clean up your neighborhood, read to the kids, help at your food pantry, etc.  I'm documenting our local cemeteries for the find-a-grave website to help other genealogists. 

Save your "boxtops for education" and give them to your local school.

To make the world a better place just be the best possible you that you can possibly be.  Be kind to others, perform your best in all activities you participate in, and just have a good attitude/mood at all times.
