Home Savings Mall cancellation?
« on: February 18, 2009, 03:12:45 pm »
Has anyone completed the $5.00 Home Savings Mall offer and then successfully canceled before the trial was done? I'm really wary of the actual cancellation and not being charged. Also, it says you get to keep the $25 Wal-Mart card. Is that true?

I hope I'm not the guinea pig here on this offer. I haven't done it yet but I will if it seems ok....

I've been debating on trying this one too. You should try it out and tell us how it goes.  ;D Haha.

I completed the offer, & got my credit. I did not receive a $25 gift card, I don't know if it's just because I haven't gotten it YET, or I won't get it... I cancelled after the week since it was not a program I thought I would continue to use. I did not have a problem w/any of it  8)

to get the $25 GC i think you have to sign w/ another company like dealmax or valuemax or something like that. It's almost like how HSM and YSC work -- 7-day trial.

I've done an offer like this in the past through another site.  It takes forever.  Once they get your information actually inputted into their system, they will mail you a welcome pack, and there will be a little white postcard type thing where you have to fill out your name and address, and mail it back to claim the $25 gc.  Once they receive that postcard, your gc will arrive in 4-6 weeks or so..  But you do get it eventually.  I did have a problem with another one like this from another site, where I had canceled the next day because I was having problems with the site, and I never received a welcome kit, which means no gc.  The supervisor I spoke to said that it takes 2-3 days usually after you sign up for the trial for them to process your info to mail out your kit.

I did get the $5 credit within an hour btw

Oh, and anyone know if the Home Savings Mall with the $25 walmart gc, and the Savings Ace offer, also with a $25gc would be the same?  Because when you click on each, they each have the same address membershipme.com, but they are different sister companies I guess..?
