I agree I thin 8 teams was enough. But it is all about the dollars anymore, more game more money!

The NBA and NFL go way beyond 10. If you think about how many teams in the past years missed out on the playoffs by just a game or 2 it makes sense. Plus it will make the top teams play harder toward the end of the season in order ot be number one because it will mean more. Otherwise they just rest their starters because it did not matter if they were in first place like the Yankees did last year. :)
