R/P from Support This site is so wrong...
« on: March 06, 2009, 11:03:30 am »
My friend's acct was suspended on here b/c she sent me a referral email and I checked it from work, and signed up at work with out her being aware of it as a result she got banned b/c of a stupid mistake...

My Friend just emailed me and said that she got a response of that she read the TOS and etc and now her account is disqualified!!  I am feeling HORRIBLE about this..and think she is being treated unfairly! Well how in the Hell is it her fault she sent a referral, and myself, and one other person accessed it from work not knowing the terms of service at the time? If anything for all I care suspend my account or the other persons account as WE technically violated the terms of service not my colleage. I feel horrible that she had close to $30.00 in cash out (she told me) and she has a newborn at home which was why she started doing this in the first place. All she did was refer me, and because I checked my email from work as opposed to home (she sent it to my personal website btw, not work) and I signed up and didn't check with her or read TOS fully she is getting punished for it! That is absurd!! Why punish someone innocently and and unjust? I told her she should report this to Better Business or Attorney General for unfair practice, she did her job and now won't get paid for it b/c of an oversight misunderstanding. How in human can you be? The difference is I am human, and understand human error and this is just completely disrepsectful, and unjust.  Go ahead suspend my account for this post if you want It doesn't matter, b/c I won't be using or referring people to a site that is so wrong, and unjust!

Yes, we have 2 or three computers and one is at a spare desk we use during our breaks etc...I signed up from the same computer she sent the email from. She does her stuff at home. We've reviewed terms front and backwards, and she in no way violated anything. If anything I did b/c I signed up from the same computer she sometimes uses during her breaks.  I just do not think it's right she is being punished for something she had no real control over, and want to make this right for her because it's not fair.

I understand that but this is not right..it's not fair and it's not just..She got a response and actually told them she'd fight this if need be, but it's a lost cause. She is being punished for something she didn't directly do, and it's not right, and now b/c I am the cause of this I feel horrible!  All it takes is for someone to have a little discretion, and human compassion, and say hey this is obviously a mistake, not throw the book at her and treat her like she's not human! She is disqusted by the way her support tickets were handled. Very short, and not very polite.

You could try mailing a business letter to FC.

But I don't know if that will work or is worth the hassle.
