As a child I was raised Southern Baptist and I went to Vacationa Bible School and I remeber marching into the church and sitting down and saying the pledges to the American, christian flags.  Than going to class and working on a craft.  Haveing a break with cookies and koolaide.  And than working on songs that would be sung at the end of the program and finaly play time just before going home.

A "christian flag"?  Do you mean the one with a red cross in the upper left with the remaining three quarters being white?  If so, that looks very similar to some Ku Klu Klan flags, (probably because the KKK is ostensibly xtian).
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.
