Teenage girls take a long time to get ready.

Both have to be reminded to do chores  >:(

It seems to depend on how they are raised, their friends, what they listen to (shows, music, etc), and a whole bunch of other things.  Some of it is also that they believe it isn't suitable for their gender.  It seems like a lot of guys don't believe they should do dishes/laundry/cleaning/vacuuming but are completely fine taking out the trash, mowing the lawn, etc.  Plus, if the chore needs to be done often, they will be less likely to want to do it.  It also depends on if it just involves their stuff or others as well (i.e. cleaning their dishes or cleaning the dishes of the entire family).

I don't have any kids of my own, so I can't say for certain, these are just things I've noticed from conversations with friends and such.
