I realize the toy companies are making money from the noisy toys...as are the battery companies...but they do get kids attention....but some nice quiet toys would be good too...kinda miss some of the one's my son had when he was little ..would love some for my grandson.....good toys are hard to find unless you want to spend a fortune.  (on toys AND batteries).  Personally, I think the increase in all the noise / high activity toys has contributed to the increase of Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity in many of the kids today.

My son plays with hot wheels and legos. There are no noises except for the ones coming out of his mouth as he does battle with the empire or has a street race.

Toys are so much money these days.  Then you have to buy so many batteries to go with them. kids play with them for a little while then they get board with them.

You can say that again, I truly hate that. I tried once to get regular building blocks and
it was like I was speaking another language.
