I have always thought it would be fun to go to the Kentucky Derby.  My dad was born in Kentucky on May 7 so it is always near his birthday.  He's gone now and I live in Oregon so my chances of getting there are pretty slim.  We did go back the year I graduated from high school and toured one of the farms.  I'm talking over 50 years ago now but I think the place might have been Calumet Farms....I'm not sure of the spelling but I remember a statue of a horse....Man of War maybe??  Beautiful place!!!!
