WAR

You send young men 18-20 years old to fight a war in a foreign land then get shocked when they act like kids? War is deplorable in itself.

True, everyone's in titled to some fun but not while you are in a war place arena. Not when you are trained to be the best in honor, nobility, fighting for freedom of oppressed ppls. As an American I expect more from our Marines & that disgusting video really made us look like what all the other countries that hate us think. A bunch of stupid moronic Americans showing their drooping tiny sticks to the world! Degrading some unknown dead civilians not knowing whether they're the enemy or simple villagers! That's not something American soldiers do to demonstrate honor! And 18 to 20+ means you're an adult, means that you should act like it! American soldiers are held above & beyond the norm that means including their conduct in the field! You don't expect our firefighters, police, coast guards, & other honorable positions to have this kind of a sick behavior?  :BangHead: :bootyshake:

The are also trained machines if you think about it and frankly the marines are the worst. Not trying to bag on them by any means because I do strongly support our military but the Marines I know, family and friends, are literally crazy when they return, practically brainwashed.

i support our troops but not the reason we are fighting.  All the war is starting is more hate between people.  And to me killing people is wrong on any level bc u could being killing someones soul mate.

Believe General Sherman get credit for the quote that "War is Hell!"    But as a student of military history I can guarntee you that every war that the United States has fought has had some sort of less than shinning example of human behavior.  Generaly speaking the miliitary has a code of conduct and if the young men are found to be in violation of this code of conduct they will be punished accordingly.   But well out of the media spotlight.  And yes I support our military and I realize that a few bad jokers are not the reprsentatives of the entire armed forces.

James Brown said it best...War what else is it good for...absolutely nothing! Say it again! Let's spend our hard earned tax payer dollars on shoring up our defenses, protecting our shores, finding alternative sources of energy and keeping our young people alive.  I think that war is used, too often, as a means of gaining oil, stirring our economy and a means of thinning out our population.  Obama has done a good job...as did Clinton in keeping us out of wars and working on restoring our economy without blood.
