I tend to do that, I almost always use manufacturers coupons and store coupons together. I also wait for things to go on sale. Also some stores do double coupons (they will double the value of your manufacturers coupons as long as they are under $1). Good luck!

As hard as I try I do not save as much as the ones on TV. 14 bottles of anything is not real a bargain if you do not use it.

I use coupons that i find on the net but couldn't suggest any sites in particular to find them.  I try to search the manufactures sites.

I always try to match up the sales with coupons. Coupons alone often aren't worth the effort for me.

as many time as i have tried to be an extreme coupon person.  I can't manage how they do it on TV.  I get all the sunday papers and use them and I try to match them up with the weekly advertisements.  i still spend about 100 dollars more then I'd like too.  Le me know if you find a way to spend less and where to find the coupons at.

I've just started myself.  Lots to learn.  I've found lots of good tips from the members here.

I try to match up manufacturers coupons with store coupons and sales.  I do pretty well.  We don't have double coupons or I would do even better.

If you're just starting to try extreme couponing, check out this site: http://www.livingwellspendingless.com/beginners-guide-to-coupons/

The host of the site also lives in an area that doesn't double her coupons, yet she is still able to save a lot of money. I think the key (as others have mentioned) is to try matching your coupons with sales at the stores such that the overall savings is over 50% of the item's retail price. And then when you do find that big savings, you try to buy as many of that product that you can and feel you would use before it goes bad.

Thanks for the website; I'm going to check it out. There are websites where you can buy coupons but I'm not willing to spend money on them at this point.
