Being in a relationship is a full-time job, don`t apply if you`re not ready.

Relationships is what you make them. If you do good the relationship will be good. That is on both sides. Relationships are great and fulfilling when all parties understands one another.

Also be careful when you decide that you never want another relationship ever because fate will send you a curve ball and you find the love of your life.

Relationships are what you make of them. You need to make sure your partner wants the same things in a relationship that you do.

What I would say about relationships is they are hard work! Even if you are good in the relationship, don't do what you shouldn't but do what you should. You have to remember its also how hard you try to know the other person, and them you. You have to do more then be good, you have to be involved not just there.

You have to do more then be good, you have to be involved not just there.

That is, in short, the entire essence of a relationship that works, pirewolf! I know from my own experience, after hanging in my marriage for almost 14 years, that he was (almost) always just 'existing' as a part of our family. It wasn't so much that his actions did NOT include/consider my feelings, that I could overlook for the most part. But when I started to see that he was not even involved with our sons, that I couldn't overlook. I would rather be with someone I don't really care that much for vs being with him and feeling like a piece of furniture. I know that sounds strange to say, but I have always remembered something I read a long time ago:
"I would rather have someone hate me than ignore me. If they hate me, at least I know I matter to them."

Think about that one.... ;)

That seems to be the case if you are with someone who is compatible with you. A relationship shouldn't be a chore.

I have been in a relationship for 22 years now. It has been hard as hell at times but I am so blessed to be with someone that loves me for who I am. He knows all of my faults and has seen me at my ugliest physically and mentally and still loves me.     So it can really be worth all the hard work if you just stick with it.
