Do you love a dog or cat?

I have two Golden Retrievers that I Love.  They say that a pet adds balance to a household and creates a more psychologically fit environment.  I believe it.  Having the dogs forces me to get out and walk them which adds to a better and more consistent health regimen from the get go.  These two dogs play with each other and always bring a smile to my face.  People who meet the dogs are brightened by their beauty and personality.  They are costly but so is any other type of entertainment and I get the intangible benefit of unconditional love in return.

I have a pet cat named Boo, who i love very much! I have had him for about nine years! He is solid black with a bob tail!

I love all animals ... but Cats are my favorite.  I have had at least one cat all my life up until about 3 years ago when I had 3 and met my now husband.... He is allergic and when we got married I had to find homes for my babies.  I love pets but I also love the freedom of not having to care for them and find a sitter when we are on vacation.

I have had both cats and dogs but, I prefer dogs over cats.  Cats seem to have a mind all their own and I guess dogs do too but, you can do more with a dog.  I got prince about five or six years ago as his former owners left him to fend for himself.  It took him a while to warm up to me but, once I got him in my apartment and fed him he was all mine.

I love cats.....but unfortunately where I live right now, I cannot have any pets whatsoever. I think taking care of a dog would be much harder. I once had a cat and loved him so much. He helped me when I couldn't hear certain things, or he would wake me up in the morning. I sure do miss him. The only thing I don't like about having a cat or dog is they are just like having another baby.....you have to feed, clean, play and nurture them constantly for them to be content and build a loving relationship with them. Of course, I would still have a cat someday.....when I get my own house, that is.

Since I no longer live on a farm, I prefer a cat. Dogs were always outside animals, and semi-work animals to boot.

I like both but. Right now I just recently had a new born. Maybe later we will get a pet.
