How do you tell your mother in law to stay out of your problems between you and your husband/ her son?

my mother-in-law is a worry wart, and i know
that's different from your problem, but we try
to keep certain things hush-hush from her that
we KNOW will make her worry. not that we like
to keep things from her, but we leave out
the parts that might send her into a frenzy...

so, don't give your MIL anything to stick her
nose in, and she can't. i'm not saying lie to her,
i'm simply saying that what she doesn't know
won't hurt her
