I don’t know what it is but I cannot watch the 1st or 2nd Chucky movies in the dark.  (The rest are just crappy.)  I can’t even watch them when it’s a cloudy day or when its raining.

I do not watch any.  When i was a teenager I used to watch and love them all, but then Freddy Kruger came and spolied the fun for me.  After his 1st (original) moview I cannot watch any scary movie what so ever.  My girls love them and they watch them with their daddy, for me I take a good book and lock myself in the bedroom so I do not have to hear the TV.

haha! i think freddy is the least scary  :P
i'm surprised he'd be the one to turn you off
of scary movies.

it's not necessarily the scary movies that get me,
it's the paranormal ones. the slasher films are
rather predictable, but the "unknown" stuff freaks
me out the most, especially in the dark.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity can still spook me good.  Same for The Exorcist- that one's the worst.

Of course, I watched BWP and PA in the dark by myself just this past week  8)
