We all make mistakes every single day. No one is flawless in this world. No one has yet been bestowed with the gift of making no mistakes. Mistakes can help you grow as a person when they are not repeated once again knowingly. So learn from your mistakes, don't repeat them and move on.

What advice would you guys give a newborn child?

I would say, Never stop Dreaming! because if we stop dreaming, there would be no future.

It's not too early to start saving for your retirement.  Start when you are young so you can be rich sooner than later.  Along those same lines let multiple streams of income be your mantra.

Don't "want" to grow up quickly as most children/teens do.  Enjoy your childhood - you'll have the rest of your life to grow old.
Have a wonderful day!

You were born a sinner and only Jesus can absolve you(cleanse you of your sins). God, our Father, loves you, He created you and He sent His only begotten Son to save you, so you could be with Him in eternal life. There is nothing you can ever do, no good works, nothing to earn it, only Jesus gave His life for you on the cross so that you can be with Him. All you have to do is know and confess the truth with your lips that Jesus Christ is our Savior, God's only begotten Son.

It's hard to pick just one, because I have alot of things I want to share with my kids. I would say the most important one they probably won't hear from somewhere else is:
Know who you are, so you can figure out where your going!
Most people, exspecially kids now, never figure out who they are. They are just trying to fit in somewhere, so they can make it through school. If you don't really know yourself you won't know what you want from life, and it will take forever to get there once you do if you wait to long to think about it. To many people are going to college and getting jobs with no direction, that they don't like. Always try to know who you are!

I would tell them "Today Forward". One can not change the past and should always look towards the future. So if one starts with today and goes from there then they can work on their future and leave the past behind.
