You should be ashamed.....
« on: September 20, 2011, 11:20:00 am »
Today when I listened to the radio station. This is the topic they were discussing, so here is mine...
You should be ashamed that you steal from your own family.
Recently someone in husband's family stole something from us but no one in the family admit or aware what was going on. Can't believe your family does something like that to you, very disrespectful.

I agree with you.  Why do people have to steel anyways?  My sister in law had her sisters daughter staying with her and she would steel the most stupidest thing like wine glasses, shelving paper, avon.  You name it she would steel it.  I just don't understand why she did it.  Her aunt was supporting her and her boyfriend they had food, water, dish, internet, cigs.  She had more than most people.

For some people, stealing becomes a habit.  Many times it's from not being able to earn money for things they wanted when they were younger.  These are the few exceptions that really need help.  Then there are the addicts who steal to support their habit.  Especially addicts for crack cocaine... they are not thinking straight for themselves and will lie to family to feed the addiction.  I feel for those as well.  Sometimes, they are people that have nothing, and are jealous and think you will not notice it missing.  I learned a long time ago that if they need it that bad, let them have it.  This doesn't mean that I invite them back... but I do pray for them and their situation.  No, I'm not high on religion, but I do thank god that for the blessings I have in my life.

I think some people suffer from this bad habit and it doesn't matter if they are in need or not and sometimes they are wealthy and they still something very cheap like a candle they must seek professional help from doctors
Other people steel because they don't have food to eat and they steel something to eat I don't encourage it but I think they have the right to eat so we shouldn't blame them alone we should blame the community who doesn't help this people.
But for the case the one who did this has the food and basic life requirements so its something related to the way they have been raised  not to appreciate anything and be thankful for the family who support you

We have been ripped off by family members too. I would love to have family members that we can count on. You shouldn't have to watch your back all the time around family..just isn't right.

One of my parents had alot of brothers and sisters and as adults, about half of them were always stealing or trying to steal things from each other.  I think it's sad that siblings will let greed stand in the way of loving their family.  I have one brother and one sister and neither of us steal anything from the other, we look out for each other and do the best we can to help each other out...I have the best brother & sister in the world!
