Are you close to your family?

Do you see them often? Do you feel close with them?

Nope. I see a few of them pretty much everyday, but we aren't close. Some of them, I almost never see and others I actually never see. Two of them, I don't have any interest in seeing so it's fine by me that I never see them & if they show up I avoid them if possible. Sounds bad, but if knew all the details you'd feel the same way.

Both of my parents have passed away.  I have a brother that I am not close to due to his wife not liking me.   She likes nobody.....The only family I have a cousins that live a couple hours away.   My husband and my 3 kids are my family!

I'm not really close to most of my family.  Since my youngest son, his wife and her two kids live near me I'm closer to them than any of the rest of my family.

I have lost interest in the idiosyncracies surrounding my mother, father, step-father and sister but totally embrace my immediate family and take joy in their victories.  I totally Love my wife, daughter, son, and two golden retrievers and relish just about every second spent with them.  They invade my every thought and when I think about giving up, their visage in my mind, pumps me back onto course.  My parents have done everything they can to make it nearly impossible to enjoy being with them and money has spoiled my sister...kind of created a prescription drug-filled bore.  I pray for them all.

All my family live in the UK, so I don't get to see them hardly.  Last time I visited with them was in 1994!!  But we stay in touch regularly

Love my immediate family: kids, spouse, sister and her family, parents, grandkids.  Other family lives further away, but we always have a good time when we get together.

I'm close to my family and see them as often as I can.
