Do you have a sanctuary color?

Purple is my favorite color but that’s not the reason I feel it’s my ‘sanctuary color’.  It’s kind of hard to explain but when I wear purple I feel like I’m safe and ‘home’ no matter where I go.  It’s not that feeling of wearing black makes you thinner so you’re more confident.  It’s like a safety zone color, like I can be comfortable enough to be who I want.  It’s like that feeling of slipping on a pair of slippers after you’ve been wearing heals all day.  While I’ve always been complimented wearing pink and know it’s my best color for my complexion, I just don’t feel the same when I wear any color but purple.

I've never heard of a sanctuary color before.
