Charity begins in the heart.  Too many Americans have become hard-hearted.  What they have is all theirs and no one else's.  I do believe if you work for it, it is yours.  I also believe that we are to share our wealth with the less fortunate in order to have a truly blessed life.

Show your source for that, please! I'm both a Christian and a Republican, and your statement is hurtful and offensive to me. I volunteered all weekend at our charity store, I've helped gather items for a silent auction for charity for a while now. I don't know anyone that's rich-- just rich in love and spirit.
