Counter top dishwasher vs. Portable dishwasher

The new house we're moving into is a very old colonial with no room to add a dishwasher. I've been looking into reviews of countertop dishwashers and portable dishwashers, and was wondering if anyone here had any experience with either?

The countertop models are cheaper, but the portable ones obviously hold more. Does anyone have one? If so which manufacturer do you have? Was it easy to install? On Amazon reviews, the Danby models seem to have slightly higher reviews than the Edgestar models, but the Edgestar's are metal models which I've heard are more durable. I hate making decisions, almost as much as I hate doing dishes LOL!
