Should Welfare and Medicaid recipients be requird to take drug tests?

I believe the recipients should be required to take drug tests.   Do you think only American citizens should be able to get Welfare and Medicaid?   Should illegal immigrants should get better health care than American citizens?

Illegal immigrants shouldn't get any health care in this country, unless it's just enough to keep them alive long enough to send them back where they came from. They are costing us billions of dollar a year, money that could be spent to help American citizens. Also this country is being flooded with people who obviously don't care about the country or her laws, and since they already committed one crime with no remorse, what will stop them from committing more? The only way to stop illegal immigration is to make this country an undesirable place for them to live.
To get back on topic, yes, welfare and medicaid recipients should be required to take drug tests. That would save taxpayers a lot of money, because it would eliminate a lot of welfare bums from the rolls.

Yes! Why shouldn't someone who is getting Welfare and Medicaid get tested for drugs when those who do have jobs and are working for a living DO have to get tested for drugs?

Absolutly they should be required to take drug tests.  If they can buy drugs or get a hold of them they don't need to be on Welfare or Medicaid.

Hell yes, for all they know ppl are only on medicaid so they can get high on free pills

If you need a drug test to get a job ... why not take a drug test for free aid.
Too much is given away ... and so much more is taken advantage of ... this would be a good way of saving lots on hand outs that are at times misused.

I think that they should have to take a drug test. most people that are hired these days have to have a drug test. nothing wrong with that. I think that there would definently be less people on the system if they had to pass a drug test. I think it should be given more than once too! kindof like a monthly thing.
