I love my MAC.  If you watch you'll see them in movies and tv shows a lot because the movie/tv industry uses them.  When we needed one for a prop we just borrowed one from the crew.  Mine came with CS2.  I'm a photographer and graphic artist (among other things).  My other computer was a pc and I found it frustrating to install and uninstall programs.  The MAC is much more friendly.

Mac is generally much better for graphical programs.  But if you are serious about doing graphic design, do some research into the strengths of each type of laptop.  Don't just go with the opinions in a forum (unless you were asking a forum filled with experts in computer graphics).

I am considering a toshiba or maybe an HP laptop. I also have looked at some Dell laptops but i heard they have alot of bugs.

Just got the newest Macbook Air, and it's awesome. Nothing handles graphic design like a Mac.

If you're doing serious design, you need a Mac- no doubt about it.  I work with several graphic designers and they all use Macs.
