Do you think the football coach from Penn State should have been fired?

I don't know all of the details, but I think that he could have done more.  I wouldn't want to be associated with a child molestor and would've made sure the guy was not working with me.  As a parent, the best interest of the kids who were affected should have all the adults involved main priority.  It's a shame that those boys were victims of such acts.  Guilty by association right?

Exactly.  Plenty of people knew and even saw what was going on for years but they chose to turn a blind eye.  Why?  Some of those children could have been spared being brutalized and traumatized by this man if someone would have stood up and said something but they didn't.  They are just as guilty if they did it themselves especially that assistant coach that actually witnessed that child getting raped but didn't do anything about it.  How can you stand there and watch something like that happen.   I don't care who it is and not call the police?

It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks. Some people just might be surprised, what comes out!

There should have no second thoughts on firing him.  He should count his blessings that he is not in jail.  Anyone who looks the other way while children are being molested and abused should be considered an accessory to the crime.  I wonder how many young boys would have been spared the life-altering trauma they experienced through the acts of that deranged person and the un-action of those who were aware of what had happened and was happening.
Have a wonderful day!

Yes, I do think he should have been fired. They all kept quiet about this horrific abuse of children. I read the grand jury report and it is beyond my ken how they could not speak out.
All this to preserve the 'reputation' of a university and keep the dollars coming in.

From what I've heard, yes.  If he actually knew something and didn't report it, that is sad.
