[[Isochronic Tones]]
« on: November 05, 2011, 11:33:13 am »
I had my first experience with them last night. I have horrible insomnia and meditated to one that helps your mind rest and puts you to sleep. I fell asleep without effort 10 minutes into it. I woke up feeling well rested which I've never experienced. This morning I also used one that increases energy instead of having my coffee. I was also more than pleased with these results.
Has anyone else ever had experiences with them?
Does anyone else know any information about them?

Also, if anyone is familiar with binaural beats, how do you feel about them?

Interesting, I haven't heard of them, what are they like.  Is it just a single sound or is it like music?

I haven't heard anything about them but I'm going to check and see what I can find out.  My husband has chronic pain and I'd sure like to find something to help him.

They're basically sounds at certain pitches and on certain waves that when listened to in headphones (and during relaxation) cause your brain waves to synchronize with them. The result of this depends on which tones you listen to. There are several different producers that make isochronic tones and some of them just give you the tones (which sound like pitchy noises), other add background noise like waterfalls and breezes, while others put classical music over it. There are an infinite amount of tones for different purposes. I've seen some to aid in weight loss, help with chronic pain or migraines, help sleeplessness, increase intimacy, aid in quitting addictions, increase energy, boost immune system, etc.

You should have him try isochronic tones. I was a skeptic for awhile, and was actually really surprised that they worked. I've since downloaded several others for different ailments. There are tones for chronic pain and there's really nothing he can lose by listening to some sounds with headphones on while relaxing for 30 minutes. :)
