Referral Obsticales?

Has anyone been doing referrals and having any problems or not understanding how to do them? Have you overcome them? If so what were your initial problems and what did you do to overcome them?

I finally sent a friend of mine a referral link on her facebook. She joined and I received a $1.00 referral fee. It was that simple.

Anyone have any other perhaps unique ways of getting referrals? I would like to know a well as I am sure many other members.  Helping each other is what it is all about don't you think? Have a great day!

I think the biggest obstacle that people automatically think everything is a scam so that they don't give anything a try. It's understandable, but frustrating.

OK, Oldbuddy, you seem very compter literate, and helpful. I am wondering, as right now I do not have a camera nor the software to do my own videos. I used to in the past. In fact I will give you one of my art fun videos, your comment would be appreciated.

But really what I am trying to figure out is how I can piggyback so to speak using your link, to get me referrals. In other words so that I get the referrals. But not take away from your own. I am just trying to think of ways of expanding with what little resources I have, by hopefully working with you and your experience.  Your comments would be greatly appreciated. All you need to do is find the video you want to use and copy the EMBED code from YouTube to add it to your own blog or website. It might surprise you, but videos can be made with free software that are quite compelling if you include good information. Paint.net for graphics, Audacity for sound recording and overlaying music, Windows Movie Maker to arrange it all and you should be good to go without spending a dime.
