Growing old is mandatory........Growing up is optional.   :P

lol I love that one Mom.

No I am not afraid of getting old. Age is just a number to me. Even though I am in my 30s I still feel like I am in my 20s. Though I have matured past my age. I am planning on enjoying this life while I can. I am also not afraid of death.

Not afraid but I am disappointed. There are so many things I wanted to do that I won't be able to. I won't even live long enough to read all the books I've purchased. So of course it just means prioritizing and setting new, more realistic goals.

Definitely not. I pray each night that the Lord will wake me up in the morning.

No, there is nothing I can do about it, I'm trying to face it (wrinkles and grey hair) a day at a time...

My best friend and I are both the same age just 2 days a part. His girl friend is 10 years younger than and she is still in her mid 20s. She just had her birthday and promptly told me she was getting old. I asked her so what does that make us antiques? She said no Ancient lol. I sure don't feel like an Antique much less being Ancient lol

Possibly afraid in the sense that I don't want my kids to have to take care of me. I am watching my dad take care of my grandparents, and it's really sad. I think the WORLD of my Dad for it, but I just see how "emotionally" its really hard for him.

Looking forward to growing older. After all we are living longer. 50 is the new 40. And if you are especially blessed with not looking your age it's even better.
