Sparklees

Hey members who use sparklees on their posts: I did check out the site, but I'm not sure how to use it to post cool Sparkees on my posts in the Forum like some of you do. Can IceKittyNM or wsnyyankees2009 in particular comment please? I love your Sparklees and I'm sure some of the relative newbies like me would like to learn how to do this magic also but some of us are, dare I say it, yes I will, just not BRIGHT enough (no pun intended) to figure it out on our own without the CONTRIBUTORY help of more computer savvy and experienced posters such as yourselves (I can be such a suck-up at times...I'm working on it). I am now using the Jedi mind-trick to compel you to reply. Thank you in advance.

You weren't clear whether you needed help making a sparklee or uploading one so I'll do both.
Click the little pictures for a bigger one that you should be able to read so you'll know what I'm talking about.

Type your text where it says 'Text'
Pick a Font - there are lots of different one and they are different sizes
Pick a size - 20 seems to be the lowest
Then move to the right whee you pick text color & back color - this is your banner or background color


After you've clicked the Create Glitter Text button and have one you like, scroll down and copy the Direct Link
Click the 2nd button from the left on the 2nd row above and you should get in your message.  
Paste the link you copied in between the code like shown below.

Thanks, kay7 for the detailed instructions. I'll see if I can get my addled brain wrapped around this little project and create a link with the sparklees to my posts in the Forum. I have plans for this eve and we have a big storm coming through tonight here in Chicago, so I'll print out your post and work on that on monday. Thanks again!

I need clarification on this part of Kay's instructions on creating Sparklees;

I'm okay until i get to this part. Copied the direct link okay, but I'm not clear on which button is the '2nd button from the left on the 2nd row above'.

I'm also not sure how to do this;

All you really have to do is once you've chosen your font, size, text color & background color (optional) is click on "Create Glitter Text", then scroll down to the 3 codes that it generates, copy one of them and just paste it here into your post.

I use the first one "Bulletin Board (1)" because I seem to have issues with the other 2:

Well, that was easy! I'd been using the Direct Link option as suggested and it just wasn't working. Got thrown off by the line "Click the 2nd button from the left on the 2nd row above and you should get in your message." that followed.

Okay, I'm intrigued. Now I've got to look into flamewordmaker myself. Along with IceKittyNM, you are one of my teachers on this stuff!
