no, not with today's economy. If we stopped borrowing more money from china and giving them away to other countries, we might have a better economy, but I feel it's too late now.

It will recover.  For starters we need stop referring to it as "crisis".  It really does no good and actually hurts the economy.

Nope. Our continuous government spending is pulling more money out of the private sector, which is where the economic growth occurs. We are either borrowing money from other countries, which places our security at risk (if China ever wanted to, they could demand immediate repayment and could cripple our economy). Or the Fed monetizes the debt, which will lead to inflation in the future. It may not be crisis mode yet, but if we continue to go in the wrong direction, we may need to take drastic measures to prevent a large collapse into another Great Depression; and these drastic measures will make the riots in Greece, Ireland, and other European countries adopting "austerity measures" seem minor.
