How To Be Notified When Someone Replies To What I Post

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to set up my account so that I can be notified (preferably by email) when someone replies to one of my posts.  Especially something that I post under Support.

Please somebody let me know if there is a way to do this.

It should work that way, but I haven't been successful at getting it to happen. What I do is check in each day and click on Show New Replies to Your Posts.

We had email notifications turned off but I've enabled them now.  You can get a notice when a new reply is posted to one of your threads/posts by checking the "Notify me of replies" box in "Additional Options" below the area where you type your post.

I am not sure that I understand your response.  The response that I received was as follows:

When I click on "Additional Options" the only boxes I see are: 1) Return to this topic 2) Don't use smileys and 3) Lock this topic.  I can also attach a file.

Nowhere under "Additional Options" does it have a box that says "Notify me of replies"

And if that box were here, which it is not, that would mean that I would only be notified of any posts that I make moving forward.  I wouldn't receive any kind of notification about any of my previous posts under Support or anywhere else that I have posted.  Is that correct?

So I guess I am back to my original question since "Notify me of replies" is not listed under "Additional Options" with a box for me to check.

So once again, please let me know how I can be notified when someone responds to something that I have posted.

You're totally right!  I forgot to turn on the permissions.  You should now be able to see the "Notify me of replies" under "Additional Options".

If you want a notification of new replies on a thread you're already posted, just go to the thread and "Modify" (edit) your post.  The "Additional Options" will show up and you can again check the 'Notify me of replies' box to get notifications going forward.  Hope this helps!!

I do what oldbuddy does. I get some notifications but that is the sure way and seeing.

Right at the top left of the page where your photo would be if you had one.

I believe the best way is to just go to the tab that says show new replies to your posts up by the total time logged in area that way you can read through what people say about your comment or your post!
