I live in the Northeast and you can ask everyone I wiork with, my neighbors, friends and family. If I could get my wife to move to Florida I would go tomorrow. I love the heat and humidity, the beaches, the sun and the somewhat laid back atmosphere.

well i live in panama city which is like 10 miles from panama city beach. During the "on season" which is spring break and all through summer its super easy to find a job. we have no factorys around here so that puts a damper on things. i have looked around on craigslist for houses to rent up north and the rent is way cheaper there than here. but the beach is soooo fun.

We live "up north" and would never move to Florida as we hate the heat and humidity in the summer.  But, winter and spring are a different matter.  We are big Disney fans and go once or twice a year to DisneyWorld.  Our spring vacations are usually 10 days to two weeks.  The winter ones are in December, to see the Christmas decorations and they are usually less than a week.

The weather is great and there are some pretty awesome beaches... unfortunately Orlando is like the arm pit of the US  and I will be leaving asap.

Enjoy.............!  It seems like it would be a great place to live.  I get so sick of the winter months where I live.

I live in southwest Florida and it is great. I love heat and humidity. But we do need air conditioners. :)

I live in Jacksonville, Fl and I know the summers or Hot but I can stay cool.  In the winters on the news I watch all those people in the North trying to fight the snow.  No thanks, at my age I don't need that in my life, I'll stay here.
