Fat Attraction with Animals

You may have seen the show on tv about people being over obsessed with exotic animals etc. Then these animals end up killing the owner. Their  was one lady that was obsessed with poisionous snakes. She purchase theses snakes from ares all over the country. They were not in a cage or anything. They just run freely in her house. One day she came in from work. You already know the outcome. She was attacked and killed by one of the most poisionous snake in the world. Cant think of the name but she did. What do you think have these owners gone to far with these animals?

 :wave:I am a big lover of animals, too. But I believe that there are just some animals that are meant to be admired from afar. One of my sons has a friend who is obsessed with snakes. He collects them from all over the world and keeps them in tupper-ware type containers. This friend has a Gaboon Viper in one and to my horror he keeps it in a spare bed-room in his house! I do not have any understanding on this. The Gaboon Viper is one of the most poisonous snakes in the world. I think on his last count he had about 30 different types of poisonous snakes in that spare bed-room. I appreciate the beauty of snakes but as I said before some things are not meant to be kept as pets. Besides, just think what would happen if one of these snakes got loose and got outside! It would be horrible!
