Perhaps he will be honored with a national holiday like other egotistical predators such as Columbus......

Yikes. I did not know this. Thanks for sharing. Jonas Salk = Jonathan Crane? Not so far-fetched!

To add to the subject of vaccinations and such-

All cures, remedies have had their sacrafices.  this is known by most.  People don't want untested, untrialed and unapproved medicines sitting on their bathroom shelves or innaculated with the same.

To repent such acts you would first have to refuse any and all types of rememdies and Nature Path remedies certainly did not save many of our ancestors!

Let me make sure I'm getting this straight. Are you saying you support experimenting on people without their consent or even without their knowledge?

Please tell me I am misunderstanding your post.

Throughout history mental patients have always gotten the short end of the stick because most of the time they are not able to advocate for themselves. That doesn't make it right but it does partially explain why so many things were being tested on them. Who is going to say anything?? Not the doctors, half the time these things were making it easier to manage patients that were prone to violence or needed significantly more care. For awhile they were even sterilizing patients with schizophrenia and other mental disorders (especially those that they found to have hereditary links).... again is it right? Absolutely not! But without advocacy people will be taken advantage of.

Even today things are not great for mental patients. If I had a choice between a mental institution and prison I would choose prison. I would receive FAR BETTER care there, which makes me sick.......
