I would say something such as, "do an online search," or "search for it online" but many people don't say these any something similar. Instead, they say "Google" or "Google it." Why do people have a preference to use this search engine? Is it really the best available one or could it be because of popularity? Search engines work the same way, you type in keywords, press search, and get a list of results. What do you think?
