If the FDA knows that our food is causing harm why are they still selling it?

I think we have a right and choice to agree if something should be put out there in the markets. What about people that can't afford food? Why can't they have the options to eat organic all natural foods? Think.......

The same reason the government allows a lot of things.  They also know that cigarettes cause harm, but they still allow them to be sold.  To quote AC/DC: "Come on, come on, love me for the money.  Come on, come on, listen to the money talk..."

Anyone who truly thinks the government has your best interests at heart, or cares about your well-being, needs a wake-up call.

until they get a grip on costs of things in this country we will be in this situation
organic farming is expensive and we have built so much to "industrialize" (which i am not totally against) that we no longer have land or safe soil to grow our foods to supply enough for this country's people to consume.
