GPS Navigator – Do you own one?
« on: January 07, 2011, 11:41:19 pm »
Technology can be both good and bad; it can make your life easier, but on the other hand it can also make your life complex. The invention of the GPS Navigator have the same potential to cause accidents like cell phones. I heard they can really freeze up if you shift your focus away long enough, an accident may occur. :sad1:  I don’t have the need to own one because I prefer to rely on my own sense of direction along with my Thomas Guide. Last year when I carpooled with my friends who owned a GPS, I noticed the given directions can be quite confusing to follow. :BangHead: So bottom line is, everyone who uses a GPS on a regular basis should use it with caution.

I've got a Garmin and love it.  I've never had a problem with it distracting me.

Yes, I only use it on long trips to unknown locations.

No i dont own a GPS Navigator but I would like to get one that way if i go back home to New York with my husband and we drive then we will have it to help us get back to New York.  But there are some people who dont like it and there are others who do so you never know what people with think about it.
