My Way of Exercise
« on: December 22, 2010, 01:06:46 pm »
So I do things a little differently - reps and all that never work for me.  I actually have a good chunk of routines that I've collected from magazines and I just do whatever one I'm on until it hurts to much that I couldn't possibly do the move again.  This seems to work for me.  It also keeps things interesting because I never do the same thing 2 days in a row.  I've been working out for 2 weeks and haven't even gotten through my whole folder.

This may work for you depending on what your fitness goals are. You may want to organize your exercises by category (arms, abs, legs, cardio, etc) and pick one  or two from each whenever you workout or pick from 2 categories a day so that you are still working out your total body for optimal fitness.

I personally like the method of 2-a-days because it changes things up more often so I don't get bored with my workouts. It also allows me to fit in my workouts more easily into my schedule.

But the best thing is to find what works best for you in reaching your personal goals and sticking with that :) Good luck!!
