It Is Blue Cold.......What Ever Thats Mean!

I have heard that saying all my life it's blue a___ cold outside. Well it is very very cold out tonight, the wind is blowing making the temp around 9. Now that is cold. How is the weather where you live?

It is very cold here also.

I know the wind chill this morning was at 7 degrees and lots of snow and ice. Going down to 13 tonight

The weather here is brutal, also. In the negatives with windchill. Brrrrr.

So glad I just got my new winter coat yesterday. Makes a huge difference!

Actual temp is about 8 below zero.  I have no idea what the windchill is this morning.

Cold enough to turn your breath to ice when you breath.

I have heard that when it is that cold you can take a glass of water and throw it as far as you can up into the air and you can see it turn to ice. Haven't tried it yet but I plan on it if it gets any colder here.

It's so cold that if I go out onto my porch without covering up my head, I get an INSTANT headache. I really feel sad for anybody who has no warm shelter right now.
