« on: October 03, 2010, 10:58:19 pm »
Since i'm still getting use to this site, are some of these offers legit? I do want some of these offers, but i'm afraid it might charge me more then it says, i need advice on this.

Only provide your CC if you feel comfortable.  I've only used mine a handful of times, I did one of the trial credit reports - had to call within 14 days or something to cancel so they wouldn't charge me, I did it for audible but didn't receive credit and when I filed a support form they said they couldn't verify I used FC to sign up with them so I cancelled that one right after, there have been a few others but they all seem to be pretty legit, just make sure to read the fine print on charges

All the above information is valid.
Definitely try the coffee offer.
Heard it was good but I don't do cc offers.

I feel that most of the offers are legit.   I stick with the free offers and have had mostly good experiences.  I did use my cc once for the Gevalia Coffee offer.  And that was a really good offer.  Most of the offers are reputable names and household names.  I always suggest that you only complete the offers of products or services that you really want.   That goes for free and paid offers.  Be certain to read all the directions and instructions so that there will, hopefully, be no misunderstandings later on.   But I am with you.   I am always nervous when giving out my cc number on line or over the phone.  This is always and not limitted to FC.  One other caution.  There are some offers on FC that do not ask for cc but bill you phone number, cell or home land line.   So, as I said, be certain to read the small print.

You are right about those offers. I always choose the ones that I want. I did do an offer with WOZO. That didnt go so well because. I read the fine print, cancel before trial period ended. I purchased a poster for 99cents my card was still billed for 29.99. I call them twice and was told that i would receive my refund. I never did. That was a bad experience for me of having  do the cc offers. Just have to be more careful. I believe there are good and bad ones.

I agree with bostonphil.  Be sure to read EVERY word and make a note with the info on it so you will remember to cancel when the trial is over. That was my problem; I would forget to cancel.  Even when canceling the one about the postage stamps, I had to call, explain why I wanted to cancel, and listen to their spill about extending the trial.  Then after talking me into extending (lol),I would forget to cancel again! :sad1: I just do free offers now.

Most of the offers are legit.  There are some that don't seem to credit.  It seems to be the same ones for most of the FC members.  I never get credit for the survey offers and it's even harder to qualify for the surveys.  So I don't even bother with them.  I have also not been credited for trial offers even though I send in proof to FC.  Whatever.  Most offers credit within a few minutes and if they don't, you probably won't get credit.

if you read the terms and conditions of the site, which many seemed not to have done, it clearly states that your order is signing you up for the monthly subscription. you just had to make sure to cancel inside that grace period.

I however have still not received any word at all on my poster and it was ordered about 5 weeks ago.

I am only sticking with the free no c/c offers for now.  Once I learn more about this site I will feel more at ease to maybe check into the other offers.  Good luck to you!

Wongjason, or anyone who knows.  I appreciate this forum.  lots of good advice.  I noticed he made reference to the coffee.  They want you to pay in advance.  Right?  How long does it take to get reimbursed?  Thanks

I read the Gevalia Coffee one gets referenced twice in this thread, but I don't see it among the offers on the main site.  Is it no longer available?

The offers on fusioncash do seem to work pretty well.  Any time Ive used a cc I've received my reward and was able to cancel on the cc if I wanted to without any problems.  If you dont feel comfortable using your cc try out some of the free offers.  They normally work well also although they dont seem to be getting alot of new offers.  I've had the same offers on my page for over a week now.

I am also new but have read quite a bit in the forum about offers.  Just be careful and read everything real well.  Good luck!
