I know this couple with small children who need help with a lot of things............. like the water and light bills and food do you know of a place that will help pay for your lights and water they got help with food and rent but not the others if you know where please let me know. They are a very nice couple that just run into bad luck and need a helping hand. Thank you so much.

Hey sweetie..Where your at they should have places that will help calling social services or government offices can lead them where they can get help..Here in florida we have a few places that help and some local churches will help too..I hope this helps and I hope they can get help I hate hearing anyone in need..

Most local churches have things set up to help with things like that.

St. Vincent De Pauls society here in Virginia help a lot, usually with not even requiring paybacks.

most states have an energy assistance plan, accessed by calling either state social services or town/city social services. 
also can be found by calling infoline in your state.  or searching 211's website.  for instance, here's my state's information:

Sometimes the local Lions clubs can point you in the right direction to get help other than through social services. One town I lived in had a place called voluntary referral services which operated from grants but they would even cover prescriptions for a family once a year. Churches usually are a good place to find out about these places because they aren't always advertised. Good luck
