Lost Puppy Today

My three little ones lost there little puppy today. She had gotten sick over the weekend and I have tried for 2 days looking for  a vet or someone to help the puppy but no one would .I'm a single mom of three little ones and I can't work right now. So I ask my grandparents for the money and went to a vet anyway and the the vet put her to sleep. The vet said she had parvo and that it would cost 900.00 for treatment and then it still may not help. The vet said putting her to sleep was the best thing to do. It broke my heart and my children 6,4,2,, I told them one day I would try to get them another one. Has this every happen to your children before, if so what did you do?.

I'm sorry about your puppy.  Several of my childhood pets died, and I always felt a lot better after the replacement arrived.  Even something as simple as a goldfish might cheer them up.

I AM SO SORRY ABOUT THE PUPPY! I AM A BIG ANIMAL LOVER AND I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT YOUR KIDS ARE GOING THROUGH. AFTER MY HUSBAND DIED IN 2009 I HAD TO PUT DOWN HIS FAVORITE DOG CUZ, BECUASE SHE SEEM TO GO INTO A SERIOUS DEPRESSION AFTER HIS DEATH AND WOULDN'T EAT OR ANYTHING. SHE JUST WANTED TO LAY ON HIS SIDE OF THE BED ALL THE TIME. SHE FINALLY BECAME SO ILL THAT I HAD TO PUT HER DOWN AND SHE WAS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD. THE BEST THING I CAN TELL YOU TO DO IS TO REPLACE THE PUPPY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I FOUND THAT THIS KEEP MY MIND OFF OF CUZ AND GAVE ME SOMEONE ELSE TO FOCUSE MY ATTENTION ON OR IF YOU HAVE A PICTURE OF THE PUPPY MAYBE YOU CAN LET THE CHILDREN HAVE A LITTLE FUNERAL TO SAY GOODBYE!! PLEASE REMEMBER TO GET YOUR NEXT PUPPY IT'S SHOTS TO AVOID THEM GETTING PARVO. A LITTLE MONEY DOES GO A LONG WAY!! GOOD LUCK!!

I am sorry your dog died, but you need to be responsible to be a pet owner. You can't get a dog before finding a vet that will treat your dog if something goes wrong, and you HAVE to get dogs their shots. Dogs don't die of Parvo if they've had their shots. Before buying another animal you should do a little research on them. I'm really not trying to be mean, you need to know this.
